Elefants Tie Clip

Today I want to show you another lovely design; is a tie clip, that I think that represents in a very cute way, a family. In this case is not exactly a child design, but is based on a children’s illustration.
This piece, instead of using silver, as we usually do, we did it in golden brass.

Children's artwork

My favourite designs, the ones that are done based on children’s artwork. If you have a little artist at home, you can have now a durable jewel that will remain forever. In this case the artists mum sent us this nice design so we can make a necklace with it. I love the result!
If you want to see other designs, you can visit our ETSY shop

Spain, Argentina and a cute cat

I really love this design because represents what we love to do; putting together some symbols in order to do a very personal design.
In this case, David asked us to do a necklace for his girlfriend Patricia that reflected their origins; a ‘cordobes’ ark very typical of David’s birth town in the south of Spain and the sun of the Argentina flag, original country from Patricia, and in the middle, their cute cat

Welcome to the San San atelier

To start this blog I would like to introduce the team and tell you what we do: San San Atelier is made up by my beloved husband, Miguel San and me, Paula San. Together we work in our little workshop and we share the design and fabrication duties of all our products.
Miguel studied Fine Arts and was graduated in cinema and animation. He worked in several animation movies and cartoons as animator and rigger which made him became an expert in 3D design, all this background inspired him to start making his own designs and to open an online shop 3 years ago where he was selling geek tie clips and cufflinks.
For my part, I came from a totally different world. I’ve been working in market research, but I guess that great minds think alike and I don’t know how, little by little I ended up working in the jewelry business.
Together we’ve been learning and improving all the different jewelry techniques and we would like to show you the results of our work!
